Request data deletion
You do not need a Splice login to make a request. There is no fee.
Contact SailSync LLC at jeff@sailsync.ai for support, privacy questions, or data requests. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, or sensitive identity documents in your initial message.
1. Send a deletion request
Use the subject “Splice data deletion”. Include the email associated with your Splice account, the Instagram handle or Facebook Page involved, and whether you want imported Meta data removed or your entire Splice account/workspace deleted. If you are not a Splice user but your information appears in a reference snapshot, identify the handle or content so we can locate it.
Do not send your Instagram/Facebook password or access tokens. We may ask for reasonable verification that you control the account or have authority to request deletion. We will explain the scope, status, and any lawful retention exception, without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines.
For TikTok, include your TikTok username and specify the connection information, saved drafts or delivery records you want removed. Do not send a TikTok password or token.
2. Stop future access
In Splice, open the managed account’s Compare workspace and choose Disconnect. You can also remove Splice’s authorization in Instagram/Facebook’s app or business-integration settings. This removes access through the connection, but does not by itself delete previously imported content.
For TikTok, open TikTok connections in Splice and disconnect the destination, or remove Splice’s authorization in TikTok. A transfer already accepted by TikTok may still complete.
3. Understand what is removed
A Meta-data request covers the associated connection and API-derived profile images, imported feed covers, derived previews, and reference snapshots in active application storage. An entire-account or workspace request can additionally cover uploaded files, drafts, schedules, and other account records after authority and shared-workspace implications are verified. Deleting data from Splice does not delete posts on Instagram/Facebook.
A TikTok-data request can cover the associated connection/profile information, saved TikTok drafts, review and consent records, and delivery tracking records, subject to verified authority and applicable retention. Original videos shared with other workspace workflows may require a wider media or workspace deletion request. Splice cannot delete an inbox copy or post already sent to TikTok through local deletion; manage those copies in TikTok.
Meta’s signed deletion callback starts the API-data cleanup and returns a confirmation code and status link. That status describes active application cleanup, not a guarantee that every backup or previous storage version has already disappeared. Contact us to coordinate backup/version cleanup or wider account deletion. See the retention section of our Privacy Policy.
